Glen Lakes Municipal Golf Course, Glendale

Once lived nearby and played there often for several years. The course is very well maintained and has mature trees that give much welcome shade in the summer. A nice course to walk cause it’s mostly flat but there are enough water and sand hazards to make it interesting. Nothing fancy about the restaurant but the food is good and place typically receives the highest ratings on the County Health Department inspections which are proudly displayed. Staff in the restaurant and pro shop are friendly and both places have a relaxed atmosphere. For practice there is the lighted and cool misted driving range and separate chipping and putting greens. Also a small sand trap practice area if you want to work on that part of the game. Now that I don’t live in the area any longer, I can let out the secret about this course that the locals don’t want you to know. It’s great!
