Drumbrae Leisure Centre, Edinburgh

This is a really easy-to-use centre with a welcoming atmosphere. Drumbrae offers a five-lane swimming pool, multi sports hall, five-a-side football, badminton, basketball and volleyball. There is excellent access for the disabled, including special changing areas and a pool hoist, and the staff are particularly helpful. There are loads of activities to choose from, including exercise classes, fitness for the over-50s and swimming lessons for all ages and abilities.
