Description

See the beautiful sights of the Texas State Capital, Austin, like you've never seen them before by gliding on a Segway. Segways have a platform perched on two wheels with a patented gyroscope balancing system enabling the standing rider to maneuver by tilting forward or backwards while using the steering control on the left side of the handlebar to turn. They offer 7 day a week, 365 day a year guided 2.5 hour Segway tours visiting the Governor's Mansion, the Texas State Capital, the World famous 6th street entertainment district, the new 2nd street shopping district and much more. The guided Segway tours are informative rated as one of the highest quality tours in Texas which are ideal for families, visitors, residents and work groups for team building activities. Reservations are strongly recommended. The tours are conducted at 9.30 am, 12.30 pm and 3.30pm.

A great way to spend a sunny afternoon

Likes: First time to ride on a segway! It was laid back the tour guide was knowledgable and kind it lasted a long time free water Dislikes: feet hurt The downtown austin tour was alot of fun, I recommend it to anyone who hasn't been inside the capital, hasn't rode a segway, or wants to see some exciting spins to what they thought they already knew about austin

A outstanding day in ATX

I recently went on a segway tour with Gliding Revolution (Downtown Austin TX). It was an amazing tour. The guides where friendly and very informative. They provided us with free parking and free waters before the departure. The experiance was one to never forget!! The segway was a "easy learn" with the help of the "GR" staff! I have/will continue to recommend this tour to all looking for a great time with great people in a great place!! Thanks again Shay! and the dedicated staff!

I was amaze when i steped on the segway! The tour was great the guide made the tour fun and safe the whole way. Best way to see the city. FREE PARKING.

Fun Time Segwaying Through Austin

My group of 4 had a blast on the Segway Tour. We caught on to the Segway VERY fast and riding was a breeze by the time we left the parking lot. The information was great, but even if it would not have been, it would still have been fun because of the attractions we stopped at and the Segway itself. Though Juan (who I booked with) gave me a small discount because of my 4 person group, the cost was NOT cheap. However, the total experience was close to 3 hours and was worth every penny. Also, the tour guide takes pictures during the tour for viewing/sales at the end. We bought one, but even if we wouldn't have, the viewing was good for a laugh!

Great Tour!

I took a tour with these guys and had so much fun. I am a local here in Austin and love to do different things around town. This topped the list! We had great trainers who taught us how to ride the Segway and then our tour guides were very knowledgeable and exciting when they showed us around! Too much fun can't wait to go back! I even got an Explore Austin Texas card that gets me buy one get one free Segway Torus and kayak and bike rentals. The card never expires and was really cheap for what you get. I am very pleased and will be sending everyone I know there.

Repeat Customer - again and again

Gliding Revolution is a friendly bunch as you might expect of folks that spend their days rollling around on Segways. I have gone back time and again to ride these two-wheeled wonders, taking my friends, my family members and even my clients. It just so much fun! The guides are accommodating and funny and the service is always good. The tours are informative and creative making them almost as much fun as actually riding the Segway itself. I've done it again and again and can say it's always a blast. Great entertainment in downtown Austin. For a memorable experience, I always recommend a Segway ride with Gliding Revolution.

The tours are organized and fun. Touring the city was so easy even for us as first timers. I recommend touring Austin on a Segway from the downtown Austin Holiday Inn

Fun on the \"people movers\"!

The tour was fun. It was a really cool experience being able to see the bats under congress bridge, the inside of the capital building, and numerous "green" buildings, restaurants, venues, etc.. around the city without working up a sweat from walking! I did feel kinda silly wearing a helmet though and I would have preferred not to. Also the MAX speed is at 8 mph, when they are capable of 12 mph...so that was alittle disappointing. The tour guy he was cool, he always stopped for people who crashed, fell, or were slow...and he was very knowledgable of the city of Austin.
