Mikata Buffet, Jensen Beach

If your going to this buffet for Crab Legs, I would highly recommend you don t go. My husband and I went there last weekend for the sole purpose of having Crab Legs (which they charge and extra $10.00 for). When we sat down we advised our waiter we were going to have the Crab Legs. At that time there were approx. 3 legs left in the pan of water on the buffet table, we sat there for about 45 minutes and in that amount of time, there were never any fresh Crab legs brought out. We advised our waiter to remove the extra charge for the Crab legs and left, not having the dinner we had planned for when we went out for the evening. We could have chosen to go to any other of hundreds of good restaurants in this area for dinner. We used to go to this establishment about twice a month, but will never again return, the staff did not seem the least bit concerned about how we felt. I highly recommend if it is your intention to go to dinner for Crab legs that you make the drive to West Palm Beach and to the Crazy Buffet a much classier establishment where you will never have to beg for them to put Crab legs out.

!!WARNING !! DON T EAT HERE!! This is hands down the WORST restaurant I have ever eaten at in my entire life, and that s saying something because I have been to some funky places. I ll break this down into different parts. Food: It was absolutely atrocious. It was overcooked, hard, cold, and tasted like trash. I would rather eat behind a dirty dumpster. My boyfriend and I had about 4 bites and lost our appetites completely. We couldn t even eat at another place after eating here, and then GOT FOOD POISONING! And I don t mean once and we were done; I mean for the entire next day. Service: Aside from the food, they were terrible servers. After two bites of our food, our waiter asked How are you two holding up? with a disgusted look on his face KNOWING the food WAS NOT GOOD. After eating a few bites, we decided to leave and said we would only pay for one meal since we were completely unsatisfied and felt sick after eating the little we did. They gave us an attitude and when we asked to speak with their manager he disappeared . They didn t know where he went, when he would be back, and on top of that they didn t have his number. When we said we were just going to leave, the waitress scoffed and say Well I m not paying for THAT. ... Well neither should WE! Atmosphere: NOT MUCH OF ONE! And honestly I m not really surprised that pretty much no one else was there. Value: The quality of this food is that of 2 week of leftovers, there is no value. It s trash. Overall, definitely never go to this place. I m reading some of these other reviews and people are driving 2 hours to this place? Well they must have terrible taste. Don t listen to them. This place is disgusting. It even LOOKS dirty. Another review said If you don t like it, Sonic is 500 feet away! Ya, just go there, you won t GET FOOD POISONING.
