Came in Tuesday lunch for the first time and my last time. I was told that everything was made in house and the freezer contained only ice cream. Quite simply I had the fish sandwich, pesto crusted catfish. It was raw, not cooked at all and was cold to the touch. The Cole slaw was god awful. The pesto mayonnaise was bought mayonnaise with a little basil. My guest had the warm chicken salad. Good except for the frozen corn....maybe more than ice cream in that freezer. It's a pretty place with lots of money invested but maybe hit or miss the meals.

Best French Dip sandwich I ever ate. $12. Made from real prime rib. The dipping juice is als the best. After eating that one, I had to go on a French Dip sandwich tour. I actually found one for $15! that was like a little steakum on a sub bun with some beef boulion. And this was at a place that fancies itself high end....

My girlfriend and I went there this afternoon for lunch. This was our second time visiting the restaurant. Our first visit was very pleasant, the staff was polite and the food was delicious. We both ordered the ribs with french fries and cole slaw. They were absolutely delicious and I couldn't wait to go back and try them again. Well today, I ordered the ribs and and my friend ordered the trout. We received our meals and I noticed that the ribs looked over cooked and they looked like they had been sitting out for a while. I addressed my concerns (tactfully) with the waitress and asked for another rack of ribs. She apologized and said she would have them bring me a new rack of ribs. So my friend and I continued our conversation and all of a sudden Rob comes to our table. He asked why we returned the ribs. I told him that the ribs did not seem fresh and they were overcooked. He said that he disagreed and try to explain how they cooked the ribs. I told him that this was my second time visiting the restaurant and the ribs I received before were not overcooked. The ribs he served me were black and the top layer was crispy. He continued to disagree with me! Note, the restaurant was full of people and the confrontation was attracting attention to our table. So I immediately cut him off and told him that I was not going to argue with him. He said that he would bring me out another rack of ribs. At this point, I lost my appetite and my friend asked for the manager. I can't believe he came to our table and verbally attacked me! Rob returns to the table with the ribs which were cooked correctly. He asked if the ribs were fine and I said yes. I asked him if he could see the difference between the ribs he served before and the new rack of ribs and he said yes. Which proved my point that the ribs were overcooked. Then he said that he heard that we wanted to speak with a manager and that he was the manager. I chuckled and told him to disregard. I called the waitress over and told her that I needed to pay for the my friend's meal and the drinks. She asked if I would like for her to box the ribs and I politely declined. I told her that Rob was unprofessional and we will not be returning to the restaurant. I plan on discussing my visit with the general manager as Rob was totally out of line and could cost them business with his attitude! Perhaps, they should post signs in the parking lot and front door, BEWARE OF ROB!!!
