Old Firehouse Winery

The view and entertainment was wonderful. It all went down hill after that. The service was terrible, no refills, never came back to table until we flagged her down. The food was even worse. Started with the potato skins. They looked great. Tasted OK. Patty melts are my favorite. Theirs had raw onions, not sauteed. The cheese wasn't even melted (melt is in the name). The burger had no flavor and looked like a vending machine burger (pressed meat). French fries looked great. They were horrible. You get chips and salsa as a side. Not very good. If you're going to serve anything other than chips or fries with sandwiches, you'd think it would be good. Maybe your signature dish? We had wings too. Nothing at all to write home about. Didn't have wine. So ,if you go, enjoy the music and lake.

My husband and I had dinner last night at the winery and it was probably the worst dinner we have ever had in our eating out experiences. The service was terribly slow and the food was absolutely awful. We ordered Fajitas and not only was it lukewarm when it arrived, but it tasted awful. This is very unfortunate because it is a nice atmosphere to go and have a bottle of wine and enjoy the lake view. My advise to anyone planning on dining there would be "Don't". Just get a bottle of wine to enjoy and skip the food. You will wait at least an hour for food that is less than edible. I can definitely give this place a thumbs down when it comes to service and food quality.

It's a nice place to go every now and then but some of the server seemed a little clueless. They have sample trays for different wines, and a few good made up drinks that they only sell.
