Cruise ship visitors arrive by the hundreds at this port, which has become the hub of Nassau. Up to 12 luxury cruise ships can be accommodated. Passengers usually flow out into Rawson Square which is filled with shops, salons and restaurants. The wharf was most recently renovated in 1996 so the facilities are quite modern. You can find brochures and maps of downtown Nassau from the Ministry of Tourism Information Center which is adjacent to the wharf.
