Silk Cafe, Freeport

Coffee shops haven't caught on in the Bahamas - you'll find nary a Starbucks on the island. However, you will find this pleasant little cafe, where cappuccinos—if not Frappuccinos—are served up steaming. Espresso and cappuccino are available, although mochas are not. A menu of fresh sandwiches, soups and salads is served. Only indoor seating is available. The atmosphere is informal and busy, it can get noisy at times.
