Geneva's Place, Freeport

Tasty, inexpensive, and casual, Geneva's is a popular lunch spot for businesspersons in downtown Freeport. The philosophy here seems to be food first, style second; the remnants of the Italian restaurant formerly located here can still be noticed. However, the home cooked Bahamian meals soon make the lack of aesthetic beauty easy to forget. Grouper, broiled, steamed, or fried (US$6.95) and the pork chops (US$4.95) are two of the most well received items. Many chicken, seafood, and beef dishes round out the menu. Save room for the side dishes. All entrees come with large portions the house specialty peas and rice.
