We ate at Chasers in Howard a couple weeks ago on a Friday night. Both my husband and I ordered the lake perch lunch. The first thing we noticed was the atmosphere. The hodge-podge decor had to be directly from the garage sale down the street. The wall color and lighting was stark. The accoustics were terrible; we could barely hear each other speak over the noise from the bar crowd. Our fish was very greasy. It tasted as if it was fried in old, dirty grease. The fries tasted like fish; must have been deep fried in the same fryer. And, then put under a warmer for a prolonged time. We shared some of our concerns with the hostess when we paid our bill. She showed no interest. At 6 pm on a Friday night, there were only 2 other tables of customers in the room. The word must be getting out. I know we will never return.
Chasers Bar is a fun place to go, great bartenders, great food, and a fun place to watch the game. They also have music on some Saturday nights, and even polka music on some Sundays.Come on down for a great time.
