Part of the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens administered by the Niagara Parks Commission , this conservatory has become world-renowned in the few years that it has been open. Featured are more than 2000 free-roaming butterflies from 65 different species within a tropical forest setting. Visitors walk along a series of pathways filled with tropical plants and highlighted by a huge waterfall. Audio tours are available in six languages.
It was so beautiful and very educational. I already love butterflies and visit the conservatory just made me love them more. It is just sweet and simple and a great place to take the family. A must do while in Niagara!
This was a wonderful place for anyone to visit. The butterflies are everywhere and will land on you if you stnad still. Many different types are able to be seen up close and personal. Well worth the admission fee. Prepare to take a lot of photos and be amazed at the beautiful butterfies and plants that are grown in the concervatory. Very educcational as well.
