Love the pool!

I usually swim at one of the NYC indoor pools, but I live way uptown (Washington Heights) and on a recent December Sunday, a friend joined me and we took the bus to Broadway at 145th Street to go swimming. The fee is just $2 and the pool is gorgeous - I've also used it on holidays (Labor Day) whyen the city pool is closed (I have a yearly pass from the city) and am grateful for access to Riverbank.
My only criticisms at this point are 1) The Web site needs to be updated (I got error messages instead of information) and I couldn't get holiday hours for the pool on a day I hope to swim - today - and I don't want to go there only to find out it's a wasted trip - and 2) the phone message fhe park doesn't provide information on operating hours. For instasnce, I don't know if the park is actualloy open 365 days a year or is closed on certain holidays. Since it was open on Labor Day, I suspect it may be open today, which is a holiday. With these two improvement - an updated Web site with a complete calendar , including a listing of holiday schedulos - this would be one of my favorite destinations!
