Locals know that D.K. Kodama has been one of the few island restaurateurs to keep a steady hold on the whims and appetites of finicky island diners. He offers up fresh and creative twists on popular island dishes and impresses with amazing sushi and seafood creations. This Maui restaurant does not disappoint. He has found a new, loyal following in island visitors who have come to know him and appreciate his unique approach to Pacific Rim cuisine. This casual restaurant offers ocean views and fabulous menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. -Lottie Tagupa
We are locals and this is the worst food we have ever had on Maui. The fish (Ono) was very very dry, tough and not even hot when served. Filet was aged and cold when served along with other foods we had. Service is okay, availability of manager is non-existent. How can a restaurant which is associated with Sansei in Kapalua (which is above excellent) be so terrible?
