We just left the restaurant and it was terrible. We did not sit on the Hibachi side and wanted Sushi and other Food. The chicken yakitori was burnt, our soup was cold, the noodles were not correct, the broth was terrible. We were told the cook was Chinese and could not speak English. The manager ignored us and our poor waiter kept apologizing but had no one to back him up. We will never return as we know good Japanese food and this was terrible.
We tried Golden Sakura last night for the first time, and we will definitely be going back again soon. We ate at a Hibachi table and the food was delicious. The salad and soup were super. Our shrimp and steak were yummy too! The ginger salad dressing was delicious, and the yum-yum sauce was excellent. Our chef was very entertaining. He was an excellent chef! The only negative that I would say is that I wish that the lights could have been dimmed a bit. It was a bit bright for me. You should definitely eat at Golden Sakura! You will not be disappointed!
My family took me to Sakura for my birthday. It was fabulous. We sat on the hibachi side, and all of the food was excellent. The service was good and the chef was very entertaining. We will definitely go back.
Myself and 2 others went to this excuse of a place on Friday January 14. No one was in the lobby to seat us so we sat in the sushi side and waited for 25 minutes. No one even bothered to check on us. Finally after 3 tables of people got up and left we flagged down a waitress. 5 minutes later she came back and reluctantly took our drink order of 2 diet cokes and a bottle of miller light. After waiting another 12 minutes we also got up and left. This has to be the worst customer service I have ever received. They were not overly busy or crowded either. The waitress did not seem to care and with no hostess there was no one to complain to. This place should change it's sign out front to going out of business instead of grand opening. What a horrible excuse for a business that is in the field where customer service should be the first concern. I will never return.
