Description

Located 20 miles south of Portland on what was formerly a 20-acre fruit farm, this vineyard and winery has great architectural detail, having left the fruit drying caves intact. Located on the grounds is a tasting room where visitors can try the highly-praised and multiple award-winning Rex Hill Pinot Noir, Reserve Chardonnay and other great wines. Weddings, social and corporate events can be held here by reserving the winery's tasting room (seating up to 100). The entire first floor of the winery including balconies and the Rex Hill Amphitheater can be rented as well. Bottles of Rex Hill wine can be purchased on-site for USD7 to USD20. Tours are available by appointment.

We can't wait to never go back to this place

$10 for 4 one ounce tastes - You got to be kidding right??I might as well have bought a full glass worth of this mostly thin selection of wine. Sure they have a sale on for ful case lots, but as a Canadian, we're limited to what we can bring back. One bottle of Pinot N and the bill came to $64 - major ouch! We've travelled the wine world from France to Spain to Argentina to Chile and not once have I paid for a tasting that wasn't refunded on a purchase. Too bad that this experience has tainted any appreciation I might have of Oregon wines. Their wines might have potential, but no one should pay that price for wine from 5 year old vines. Buy Burgundian wines before this stuff. To Rex Hill - sure - you've built a nice place but...Hello, there's a recession on.......
