My husband and I have had the fish and chips in the casino dining room many times and it has allways been wonderful. Until last nite. They no longer are serving great quality HALIBUT. They are now serving not so great Cod. The french fries were very tasty , but for 19.00 dollars per serving not a good value. We will return to play and dine when the Halibut returns.

My wife and I stopped for the night, no plans to play. But the next day we did a little, she hit a 5 star for 15K! That is rare anywhere, but we have been back now many times. We usually take $500 each, and about half the time lose most of it of course. But since January 2011, the wife and I have 7 hand pays of $1500 up, one was $9000! Try that in Reno. Yes, the restaurants are average, the rooms just adequate, but the staff is very friendly. What they need is an on call massage therapist and it would be perfect! The part we do not like is they now serve alcohol.

Dined only at the Casino's main restaurant. Current offer of three-course meal-for -two: Angus New York one-pound steak, mixed greens, baked potato with fixings, and dessert is well worth the $26.99! Service leaves much to be desired: Staff looks confused and they are s-l-o-w as snails. Server screwed up our charge slip. Steak was cooked perfectly - terrific hunk of meat. Salad was frittered with wilted, scary lettuce and too many bitter greens and reds. Potato seemed okay but I wasn't into it or the dessert. Would rather have had more asparagus instead of a three-stalk garnish with a trio of wilty red peppers. All-in-all, I had a fine, thick, tender, gorgeous, very rare cut of steak. Mother Nature provided the stunning sunset vista, I came with the lively dinner companions, and the Rogue Restaurant gave us the delicious meal. Not a bad night.
