Stiletto Catamaran Cruises
Not one, but two red and white cruising catamarans are available for charter. Entrepreneur Peter Allen and his brother first developed the 'turtle cruise' (BBD75 per person) here on Barbados, and the idea has taken off. You can sail to where the sea turtles live and play. Now tamed, you can even snorkel with the sea creatures. If something a bit more romantic is on your mind, sail along the West Coast's exclusive villas and resorts while sipping champagne at sunset. Then, there is always a marvelous buffet lunch cruise, which lasts five hours. Stiletto now has two boats and can handle large groups, but no booking is too small.
We enjoyed our excursion on the Stiletto very much. The staff was top notch. Very friendly and helpful. Sean pointed out where the turtles were and kept us all together when we were in the water. They were so generous with the free drinks and they make a mean rum punch. The music was fun to listen to. And what I liked was there were not too many people onboard. They provided snorkels, masks, fins and even life vests to all the passengers.
After a swim they would hose you off with fresh water and then offer you a drink. They also offered us freshly made banana bread. We had a blast snorkeling, not only with the turtles but Sean fed the fish so we had schools of big blue fish swimming around us. So cool. We also saw stingrays at the bottom of the ocean. They then took us to a reef where we snorkeled over a shipwreck and over a reef teeming with all kinds of amazing fish. I highly recommend them to anyone visiting Bridgetown or anywhere in Barbados actually. It was well worth the $60 we paid for a half day cruise.
reserved stiletto by phone from Boston,. for private catamarna tour for 21 people. We where greeted at the port, and from that moment we had a great time. Great stuff, musik, food, service. We all would highly recomend this company for any tours. THis is one of the thing that people must do in Barbados
We have been on the island eight times and the sunset champange cruise is Barbados best kept secret. The turtles were fantastic crew and capt were great and simply finished off with a bottle of champers into a beautiful sunset. It was the best thing we did on our entire holiday.
Our sunset cruise was the best thing we did for the entire week, had we done it earlier we'd have done it twice. The turtles were fantastick to swim with, and the afternoon sail right up to the north of the island was so smooth normally my wife wont go on boats, but she loved every moment.
