Stuart Cove's Dive Bahamas, New Providence

I was extremely nervous for my first open water dive to get certified but the trainer we were with was awesome! Her name was Kathryn Catton and I wouldnt trade our experience for getting certified any place else. I wanted to do our dive in the Bahamas just because its obviously much prettier than doing it in a quarry like I wouldve done at home. I would highly recommend doing your open water dives here and request Kathryn! Shes the best!

Really? If you like being taxied in a puke wagon, herded onto a boat, crappy unsafe gear, and diving on a lame fishing boat wreck - maybe this is a deal for you. Stay away from Nassau period. Let the east coast jersey scum go there.

This was the first time I'd been diving. I completed the PADI eLearning and confined water sessions at home and did my Open Water referrals and Advanced Open Water course with Stuart Cove's. As a beginner diver I was very nervous about everything but all the staff was helpful and friendly. Even staff who weren't on the same boat as me ever but just saw me around the dive shop over the course of the week would stop and ask me how everything was going. I do have to admit that some of the prices were a bit high ($10 for a digital photo from the photographer they send on each dive, $8 for a burger). My instructor was amazing and would have all my rental gear all ready loaded up for me on the boat before I arrived and even managed to evade the management's policies and let me do my last AOW training dive as part of their Shark feed dive.

Best dive I've ever done around the whole world, we fed about 40 9-foot sharks. amazing. the people were highly professionals with top knotch equipments. the shark feeder Marc Taggart was the nicest. the pictures and dvd video are fantastic and were ready in 15 minutes! thanks Stuart Cove's for one of best days of my life Vittorio Paternostro

I did both the mini-sub and the snorkeling and both were a lot of fun. I don't know how to swim but was able to do everything with the help of the guides. They were very nice and professional. Got to see many fish and to snorkel with sharks

Been there the last three years and we are going again the week of Jan 10th. All the guys were fantastic. My daughter and I are so looking forward to it again. Norma & Lori

This was a highly advertised dive shop with a mistakened excellent reputation. Equipment poorly maintenanced. Wet suit still wet, regulator tasted salty (Not cleaned?) The shop didn't have analyzer to check nitrox(It justed broke), "you'll have to trust me." WTF? Crew were experienced and friendly. Mouthpiece torn and was ripped out of my mouth upon initial decent. and was told to use the buddy reg.(Sorry buddy if your in trouble). Sand in my o ring upon intial inspection, was told it is ok., started with 3200 PSI visual check and after 11 min on my computer showed 450psi. Shame on me. Also,small air leak noted in the BC connector. Went back to boat and was told no working spare regulator's, but I used my husband's on the second dive as he sat out.

The snorkeling was a blast saw some great fish and had a great time! But it just so happen that a lady on my boat was BITTEN BY AN 8 FOOT SHARK while swimming with them at the 3rd location!! I was thankfully not in the water but it was an eye opening experience and i will most likely never go any deeper then ankle deep water ever again. I was never able to check up on the lady after I had to help carry the stretcher so i dont know how she is, but she had a extremly large portion of her calf GONE...completly and lost alot of blood. So go snorkeling but dont get in the water with the sharks...common sense people

I had a wonderful time and had fun times with all the other visitors. We went to two dive sites and then got to swim with the sharks. That was awesome...and scary!

Buyer beware just returned from the Bahamas and was looking foward to this excursion after paying $216.30. When we arrived to the meeting place in front of the terminal and boarded the white & pink bus the bus operated refused us service & removed us from the bus and stated the tour was full and stated our reservation was not acceptable and that they did not receive our payment from the booking company. I asked to be allowed to go on the tour anyway and pay Stuart Cove directly when we arrived and I will take up this issue with the booking company when we returned to the States. This request was denied ultimately ruining our day. Shame on Stuart Cove for treating customers in this matter after patiently looking foward to this excursion. Very poor business people. Disgraceful !
