In a lively little road between les Cordeliers and les Terreaux, there is an excellent chinese restaurant. Two things strike you at first sight: the impressive collection of honorary distinctions (including the Dragon d'or, awarded to chinese restaurants world-wide) and the decor in which the gilding leaves no doubt as to the type of food served here! But it is not for the tinsel that people come to Kun Yang. Better to reserve in advance than to take a chance - this restaurant is always packed. Taste this refined cuisine whose variety is only equalled by its quantity. For those who avoid chinese food, finding it too greasy or filling, a trip to Kun Yang will no doubt reconcile you with the true flavours of this country. For students wishing to eat for a few francs, it would be better to go to la Guillotière.
