First of all to Joann...it sounds like you are tied in very close to Bullfrog s yet no one recognizes your name. It s very common for other s from competitive places to check Bullfrog s out I suppose. As far as DJ Myke goes...girls willingly chase after him and he s fairly young still. Many come back to support him, girls fawn over him, or they support Zig Zag which he is the lead singer in. Trust me , I know Myke that if he s beating a dead horse with the ladies...he won t make the effort...lol...but I d be enjoying the life if I was him just the same if I were single.
First of all I would like to say that I feel Bullfrogs new cook Ernie is going to really help the place......and I know its not his falt that you only put a tablespoon of bean and a tablespoon of rice on your taco tuesday plates...who does that?? Cheap people do, come on guys beans and rice are just about the cheapest food around, the plates should be piled high full, this keeps your customers from leaving your place feeling hungry....just sayin, well alot of people are saying it looks like you are runnin out of beans and rice..... this isn t a hate comment it is the truth......and while Im at it whats up with DJ Myke?? He doesnt have his head in the game, you know it and so do I, he looks like he cant stand his job, you basically have to hunt hime down to get him started and then you do find him its like an act of god, he is so not into kareoke...its bad....and while Im talking about kareoke how come you dropped the 100.00 prize to 50.00??? who does that??(Cheap) if your Dj would quit chasing tale and being such a drama king and focus on your customers it wouldn t be so bad...take a step back the owner and the general manager and take a good hard look at your Dj and his skills...keep your personal feelings out of it and make a profesional opinion about this issue.....your Dj thinks he can do and act anyway he wants, says he runs your place, hes right about that run it right in the ground...its little things like that, that will do it....
I really liked this place!!! They have good food and nice people. I have been on a few occasions and was pleased. They have a lot going on for a bar in this town, Ive seen live music and DJs with dancing all in the same week. Ive read other reviews and think people should understand one person doesnt necasarily make up the opinion or image that a company is trying to portray Im jus sayin
Im not going to this place anymore, they are racist!!!! On friday night they kicked out a group of people because one of them was wearing a cap they said was not allowed, but there were ten other white guys in the place wearing the same football hats and they were singled out! the only difference was this guy was a mexican. The place has been looking more empty every week. I guess they dont like brown poeple spending brown money. They didnt tell me nuthin about my cowboy hat though??
I have visited Bull Frogs three times. The service has much to be desired. I felt I should cut them a little slack on the first trip being they recently opened. The second time things got worse my entree was severely overdone and we waited twenty minutes just to get drinks. The next time I tried the bar and the service was very poor I had to ask twice for the bartender to wipe the dirty counter where I was sitting (and she still did not get it clean) and she said being it was after 8:30 pm all drinks are served in plastic cups. At no time on any of my visits was the restaurant busy. I was not pleased after any of my visits and until I am convinced they have turned things around I will not visit them again.
My husband and I enjoyed the food very much, however, the service we received was much less than par. As my husband's glass sat there empty, I saw our waitressing texting. I understand that the restaurant is new, and maybe trying to find their staff, but come on...texting?
Get some new help, Bullfrogs. In our case they brought you down 2 stars.
The old riverland,As we came in we greeted and sat down right away. The two seat table was perfect and pleasing.Beverages and a menu was given. We ordered an appitizer of calamari which came tarter and a spicey red sauce,Excellent Taste.Fish & Chips for me and linguene pasta for the wifey, was tasty. The fish was fresh and thier batter is most excellent, only draw backs were,#1 fish was a little greasy.#2 waitress seemed distracted when we needed service, had to flag down the bus boy,wow.#3 get there menu straighten out, sole fish dinner changed to fish & chips. They just opened up so lets give them a little time to gel,its going to get lots better.Go and eat, have some fun on the river front,The bullfrog beer ale is to die for,we always will love our local riverland, most of us grew up w/ it.
