Food is very good, and very good sauces. They do charge extra for 2nd set up of chips and salsa. Service is good, would help if the wait staff spoke English. Made it a little difficult to order and ask any questions about the menu.

What food! What service. The minute you walk in the door you feel like a king. The waiter was learning english, as we were learning spanish. He couldn't have been a better find, for our first time here. The food was excellent and the service wonderful. We had so much food, we had enough for a take out to eat for lunch. I highly recommend this restaurant.

As you come in the door they great you like your one of the family. The food and service was excellent. Try the barbacoa and menudo.

This guy is crazy ponchos is a great restaurant I eat there alot and I've never had a problem.

I don't know why people in mcallen say this is good. The chips taste burnt. Everything they cook is salty. I would never eat there again. Be warned the food is salty.
