Strauss Festival of Elk Grove
Travel back in time to Old Vienna when you visit the Strauss Festival of Elk Grove. Elegantly costumed dancers and professional musicians re-create the bygone era of Vienna's "Waltz King," Johanne Strauss. Old World Vienna never looked or sounded better, and although it's in Northern California in the 21st century, you will actually think you are part of the Hapsburg Empire in the 19th century. The festival is free and takes place Thursday through Sunday of the last week of July each year. Please visit their website for more detailed information.
