Cheese lovers just couldn't ask for anything more. The idea behind Mozzerella Company came about from the owner's many journeys to Italy. Opened in 1982, this small company specializes in the art of cheese-making, and it's all done by hand, from scratch. With fresh milk and the finest ingredients, the company has spun out some award-winning cheeses, which are a hot favorite for many all over the country.
The Mozzarella Company is a quaint, little cheese factory nestled in the Deep Ellum area of Dallas. Paula Lambert and her staff are delightful and knowledgable. The place isn't very big, but their love for cheese is bigger than Texas. They make about 35 different artisan cheeses which you can purchase or even learn how to make cheese yourself. If you can't make it to the Mozzarella Factory to experience it for yourself, at least buy Paula Lambert's book, "The Cheese Lover's Cookbook & Guide", it will change your cooking for the better.
