Do not pay with credit card at this establishment... they added a $35.00 tip. When management was told they agreed to send refund and never did. They also gave away our reserved table for 8 to someone who gave them a tip. The food was awful and the waiter spilled a drink all over one of our guests. The location is all that this restaurant has to offer but there is NO ambiance. All of our guests were very disappointed that we had chosen this place. We had come a long way to vacation and did not appreciate the bad business practices of this sham. We have never seen such poor taste for such a large unwarranted price. Save your money!
After dining for many years (12+) I was very disappointed when I attempted to make a reservation for friends of mine who were going to be visiting Charm City and wanted to take advantage of the good seafood and the Inner Harbor. Outdoor dining being our favorite, I recommended Rusty Scupper. A rather annoyed young woman who said she had only been working there three months announced they've never had deck dining, informed me that they don't seat outside unless you rent it as a private space for a banquet. So long Rusty, my fmaily, friends and I were never so impressed by the food, the value or the service that we would bother to be seated inside. The deck was "it" for many. Bring it back and we'll see you next summer.
Service was unattentive and slow. It took over 20 minutes for someone to even take a drink order. When my wife's glass of wine finally arrived the glass was dirty. We tried in vain to flag down our server so I ended up going to the bar myself to get a clean glass of wine.
On the positive side, the view is very good and the sunset is awesome.
I was a bit disappointed in the ambiance. The view might be a great draw but the management desparately needs to update the interior and improve the acoustics - too loud and tables too close together.
The host was absolutely rude to a party in front of us with an elderly woman that had no reservations. We were seated promptly but upon departure didn't get so much as a "have a nice day" or "how was your dinner".
No complaints about the food - the Asian BBQ Salmon was particularly noteworthy. Nearly $11 for a martini and $28 for the stuffed cod seemed a bit steep.
The Panoramic Harbor View was magnificent! Good calamari, lovely tuna! Scallops were delicious but there were too few of them.
Our waiter was perfect for us - knowledgeable and completely accommodating.
An expensive evening.
