Love, love, love this place. First, let me say that we have only been here for lunch so I cannot comment on the atmosphere for dinner....but it looks like they have live entertainment and karioke.
Today, I had the Saturday special....pot roast. It was amazing. Very tender in an awesome brown gravy. It came with potatoes, carrots, celery & cabbage that had been slow cooked with the roast. Everything was tender but not mushy. I also had a side of tabouli. It had a great flavor and was neither too dry nor too oily. My husband had the chicken fried chicken with fried potatoes and okra. The chicken had a very crispy crust that was well seasoned and the chicken was juicy. It was covered in cream gravy. The potatoes looked like thick cut chips, but they were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside....very good. The okra was nice and crispy as well. This lunch was so good, you almost didn't want to leave any of it on the plate to have room for pie. They have an extensive bakery selection. We had the black bottom pie. The waitress said that it was like the red velvet of pies, and it was. The chocolate reminded me of red velvet and it was topped with home made whipped cream. We left completely stuff and happy. Can't wait to go back.......well worth the short drive from Tulsa.
