Things are changing. When first opened loved the food. On Sunday 1/16.2011 arrived about 12:30 pm. There were several empty tables, but they hadn't been cleared. We waited well over 5 minutes to be seated. Ordered 1/2 sandwich and cup of soup. After waiting a while, the waitress came and said they were out of gyro meat what would I like instead; finally settled on half a club sandwich. This sandwich was falling apart and I couldn't hold it together and it was served on a round twisted bun. Eventually she came to say they were out of the Clam Chowder that I ordered from the board. She brought chicken noodle which was tasteless, mainly broth with strings of chicken in it. This with a soda was $7.50 dollars. Wanted to talk to the cashier but she was on the phone the whole time I was trying check out, it sounded like maybe talking to a boss. Called today, Monday, a little after 11 am, and was told the owner was busy and I could call back after 1:30 pm. I'm not a happy camper.
I try to get here as often as possible. I absolutely agree about the soup (my favorite is the minestrone). Prices are very reasonable and the menu offers quite a bit of variety. An absolute must have when you get there are the Irish Eggrolls!
I take friends and visiting family members to Two Dads. Very high quality, especially when its size, market, and location are factored in. Very friendly staff. Gimme a bowl of sausage gravy with fresh baked biscuits, and I'll work hard all day.
This place doesn't even deserve a star. I went into this dark place with a friend and was disappointed. I got out of my booth to go wash my hands and almost fell on the floor because the seat was loose. On my way to the bathroom I saw the two chefs chugging beer in the kitchen. They were also rocking out to some heavy metal that was heard throughout the whole place. I felt very dirty while eating there. I didn't even want to touch my food because I did not know how sanitary it was. My waitress had a full sleeve of tattoos and she was texting on her phone the entire time. She was also very expressionless. I will never come back to this place again. The water even had a bad taste.
