Cafe Phoenix, Port Aransas

This place is flat out amazing. My girlfriend and I came here a few months ago and we have not stopped thinking about it ever since, everything about the meal was perfect to the tee, the memorable flavors, the way every element on the plate was so well balanced and harmonious with eachother made my tastebuds go into a frenzy. I know that her menu is constantly changing but on the night that we went for an appetizer we had curried sea scallops that were so juicy and succulent I still am not even sure those two words do it justice. Our entrees were execptional, I chose fish with sliced avocado on top and i still cannot get it off my mind, the baby bok choy in the mixed vegetables is pure heaven and melts in your mouth, my girlfriend got the snapper and i could not stop stealing bites off her plate!. For dessert we chose carrot cake with some king od maple frosting i believe and it was hands down the best dessert I have ever tatsed in my entire life. make sure you call and make a reservation because they only have a few tables, and if you dont have a reservation I would reccomend waiting because it will we well worth it. It is BYOB as well. Cafe Phoenix we plan to visit you again and again and again! all the richest compliments to the chef!
