This family restaurant reminds me of San Francisco with mostly a Cantonese flare. There are a good selection of both traditional and americanized dishes. The owner also attends to the tables and is extremely friendly and accommodating. Prices are more than reasonable and I met people who drove there from East Sac.
The worst place I have ever been to for chinese. The waitress was very rude. My food was horrid. I ordered sweet and sour shrimp. The shrimp was barely warm, there is no way that the shrimp was cooked as it should have been. They put raw vegetables instead of cooked onto my plate and poured a little sweet and sour sauce over it. they charged me $2 more than what the menu had. the foil wrapped chicken did not have any soy sauce in it. just awful. this is at almost 1pm so there can't be an excuse that they just opened. they were short a fork at the table I asked the lady for one and she got mad. when i told the lady about my shrimp and please cook longer she told me no!!!!! i got what I payed for. In her exact words.I left the plate and came and wrote this. PEOPLE, DON'T GO THERE. CHANGS CHINESE!! dissappointment in the service. They need to fire there chef and waitress. I have never been treated in such a horrid manner. My name is SANDY AND DON'T GO TO CHANGS CHINESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEXT TO RALEY'S ON NATOMAS BLVD If i would have tipped, which i normally do anywhere, i would have given them a penny.
