Inspired by roadside eateries, 17 North has a rustic charm while offering contemporary and comfort food from local producers including from their own garden. The diverse farm to table menu changes seasonally but whenever you get to try, grab the shrimp and grits, smoked pork chops, fried oysters and deviled eggs. Not to forget the beer and bacon Mac n Cheese and BBQ ribs. There are options for vegetarians as well. Enjoy dining at the fire pit patio with sofas and umbrella shaded table. Cheers!
Food is decent, a bit over priced for what it is. The atmosphere while it doesn't look bad is terrible. The tables are way to close together, there is no waiting area, so when its full there will be people hanging over your shoulders while you are trying to eat. Worst of all the noise level in this place makes it impossible to have any kind of conversation with the people at your own table. The service wasn't bad, maybe try this place if it isn't crowded. If there is a wait go somewhere else and save yourself the headache. My waitress recommended the Salmon, saying it was the best salmon and most popular dish on the menu. What came was just a plain, ordinary salmon dish....not bad, but certainly nothing special.
