This bookstore/restaurant is a cozy hide-away for any booklover. It is located in an inner courtyard of one of Jerusalem's first neighbourhoods outside the Old City walls. Other than used books, Tmol Shilshom offers a variety of tasty and unique dishes. There are special evening lectures with local authors and poets, scheduled throughout each month. There are also weekly excursions in the Jerusalem region on Friday mornings. A detailed itinerary can be obtained at the store or at it's website. The cafe is gay owned and gay friendly.
Tmol Shelshom is a small bookstore that offers poetry readings and excellent dining. Every plate has has a unique flavor while the ambiance is quaint and artsy. It was a wonderful overall experience. They also have an all you can eat buffet friday mornings.
Tmol Shilshom is an amazing little place.
half courtyard, half bookshop at the top of a staircase in the centre of Jerusalem. Can be quite difficult to find, it's the next alleyway to Egon.
It's a bookshop by day, and a cafe by night. Serves good food, but slightly overpriced.
