Writing this review while here. Cold food! Gross. Didn t like anything. Really expensive. 12.99 for lunch! Worst buffet I ve been to. Go to the one in Blackwood, much better. My spouse and mother hated it too.
I have to say, when I first reviewed it this place was great! Including the atmosphere... I went recently and although the food is good there was a change to the ambiance including some loud thumping pop/hip hop/ new whatever music! Shouldn't it be like some oriental mood music? I was a little disappointed in that. It was loud.
They are not only sushi buffet, they also have hot food bar, salad bar, fruit bar,ice cream bar, bbq bar,and they have hibachi and dinin, which is order from the menu and chef cook front of you. I always make it a point to try the sushi at a buffet. The sushi definitely made a good impression! I was stoked to see the sandwiches and the HUGE sushi rolls Creativity and deliciousness at its best. Makes you almost not want to eat the sushi. They are so pleasant. The place is clean - even the bathroom and that is how I judge the cleanliness of most restaurants I go to.
Over all food is best, sever is nice and fast, very clean. I will give they 6 stars if i can.
We have a bad experience in this area. The Chinese Manager in this restaurant has a bad attitude. The first time we reserve the area he said that he is a manager but when we are complaining about what we experience on that day he deny that he is a manager. I condemned this Chinese manager and how they treat their own customer. I am planning to file a complaint about our bad experience in this restaurant. If i am the owner of this restaurant i will kick him out. I don't Recommend this Tokyo Hibachi. Please don't to try to eat in this restaurant. I will never go back in this restaurant. I was so disappointed in this restaurant.
It's very nice inside but the sushi is poor grade even for buffet standards. If you know what sushi is suppose to taste like and know it's to be served not at room temp. then you would not enjoy it here. The hot food is luke warm and it sits out too long. I've given this place a couple chances and it never changed. The green tea ice cream has to be the worst I've ever eaten. At 22$ or so a person its def. not worth it. Plus you have to deal with the annoying birthday song playing loud over the speakers with flashing disco lights every 3 minutes. Your better off going to a sushi restruant and getting one of those all you can eat deals for the same price and not leave feeling sick or like you wasted your money. Not the worst buffet I've been to but it ranks in the top five worst.
The food at this restaurant is excellent. There was not only sushi at the buffet but hot food, snacks, everything !! I will definitley be informing my buddies at work about this place. The servers were always there when you needed them and I have no complaints at all. Good stuff !!! :)
I thought it was very clean and nice, but the food was horrible. I'm very big on sushi and right now I can only have vegetable rolls and california rolls since I am pregnant, they were absolutely disgusting; how do you mess up an avacado roll? My boyfriend got spicy tuna and the philly roll and they were awful; he even got sick afterwards. It was not fresh at all and I recommend Royal Mandarin in Deptford if you have high standards for sushi. I dont think I will ever go back to even try the buffet or hibachi, because I was so disgusted.
