I've eaten at this restaurant three times in the past year. Each time, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was inviting. The food improved with each visit. Once we were fortunate to get some fruit soup - not a regular entree. It was SO delicious! Brought back memories of my childhood. We also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet - served family style at the table. Good stuff!
I was not very impressed. The cuisine is fairly bland, heavy on carbs and fish, and the food as delivered was somewhat dry and uninspired. There were some high spots, but overall I thought that the experience did not live up to the price or to the hype.
There are other places I would far prefer to go for the same $$$.
Really great atomosphere-it's in the old Black and Tan building. Food was delicious and reasonably priced-had the shrimp trio- I would recommend it. It's really close to College Ave- Definitely put this restaurant on your list to try next time your out and about -or going to the PAC!
