All Spice Indian Restaurant, American Canyon

We travelled from Los Angeles to Napa Valley and before we left decided to purchase restaurant.com certificates. This was one of the restaurants that we chose. We were not disappointed at all. The food, service, and location was great!.I preferred the low spice and my Jamaican husband preferred extra spicy. They cooked the food just as we desired. They give you plenty and everything was well flavored and cooked to order. The garlic naan was outstanding! If we come back to Napa we will go back to All Spice as well.

Wow! We are big fans of Indian food, and we are always looking for neighborhood places with reasonable prices. We found it at All Spice. The food was delicious (don't hesitate to try the few Fijian dishes as well). In addition to very tasty Indian food - not the one masala spread over all ingredients, but each one unique), the place is super clean, the service untiring and the owners available and on tap to make sure you are delighted. They can cook to desired heat or spiciness, but food is so deliciously spiced that burning heat is not necessary. Our 14 year old son with special needs was made welcome, and he totally gobbled up his entirely vegetarian meal with gusto. We plan to revisit often, and will bring a cooler to tote back a few meals worth for later enjoyment (we live a full 1-1/2 hours away). Has the price and ambiance of a neighborhood budget Indian diner, but the flavors of one much higher priced. Don't miss this jewel in the rough!

I just went there recently to visit American Canyon for the first time as a Bay Area resident myself. Friendly service was provided at the restaurant. They give you plenty of naan breads and rice with any dish or food item that you order. I also liked the location of the restaurant as well. On the other hand, I wish that the restaurant's ambiance could have been more desirable. As an Indian individual myself, I would prefer that they make their cuisine more authentic and hearty. Otherwise, I would recommend this place to those who enjoy mild flavors and lighter texture in food.

This is the best little curry shop for twenty miles around. They prepare a more mild and fragrant spice blend than what I've had elsewhere so it appeals to the veteran and the novice of Indian cuisine. It is not fancy, they do take out and the value is outstanding! You can't go wrong with Allspice!!
