This restaurant is an overblown tourist trap. No locals eat here. The food and menu is very unremarkable, the waiters are harried, and the asian waiter actually told us that the fish was really dog, and and when he asked if I was American, he scoffed and smirked. I asked him if that was meant to be an insult, and suddenly he spoke no english, and asked if I wanted salt. The food was way over flavored with salt, the pasta was way overcooked, the fish was drowned in olive oil, the salads were bland, the meat was poorer quality, the service was awful and when our meal was finished the plates remained on the table for nearly a half hour. Silverware was not clean the first time around, and the waiter's nails were filthy. Of course, if you want to buy into the hype, go right ahead. You will spend around $75 - $100 per person for a third rate restaurant. We are New Yorkers, and we know what makes a good restaurant. This place is next to a disgrace.
