Jungle Island, Miami

it's like being on a tropical island-the bird's are beautiful-the lush tropical plants and trees make you feel like you are in paradise-it is a totally awesome experience

Parrot Jungle offers a fun day in a tropical atmosphere full of color! This place is off to a great start in a new location. They are still growing and more exciting things are upcoming. I would definitely recommend this place for family or friends to spend the day for entertainment. There are just enough things to do for a full day stay.

On a whim, my wife and visited during a three day weekend with some friends. It was the perfect adventure for us! Parrot Jungle Island offered a discounted admission fee and the number of people was quite low that day. It's better to visit during overcast or cloudy days, so bring an umbrella. As well, they had a BAR-B-Q lunch for just over $7, all you could eat. It was an enjoyable, value packed visit.

This is an awsome place to take the kids! If your going in the summer take sunscreen! Get ready to be amazed by all the animals they have! A little over priced, but still great.

My family and I were disappointed by Parrot Island. It had a high ratings in some of the FL travel books and we found it to be small and overpriced. I guess if you never see animals it would be worth the trip.

Owning exotic hand-tamed birds, this was a must see upon arrival in Florida! What luck, we had a wonderful morning when a light rain fell. The birds were in 7th heaven, talking, chirping, estatic, what an experience. So much to see, so little time. The show, extraordinary. The ability to educate people on what wonderful creatures these magnificent birds are! The ability to be better educated on owning these precious creatures. Sitting in that rainfall & watching their antics, you cannot put a price on this. Besides a trip to Africa or an island where they live in the wild, this is the closest one can get to heaven to see these magnificent creatures & all their beauty. I had a picture taken with 6 Macaws on my arms & I am kissing one of them. I love looking at this picture & showing it to my 2 birds, my African Gray Oliver & my Amazon Blue Front Halston & we all laugh.

Parrot Jungle is a great place to spend the day with family or loved ones. It's nature at it's finest. It's a great place to go to get away from the busy city life and relax! oh, yeah you might also learn something new.

For those that haven't been here- everything about Miami has become commercialized. Although it's nice- kinda like NYC to visit- it's NOT for the faint of heart... Parrot Island was a decent day stop...
