Not that creepy, but overall good

The tour was good, but more historical than creepy. A large group of people accumulated outside of the Brewer's Ally restaurant around 7:15, and we were ultimately split into a few separate groups with individual tour guides. Each group consisted of about 40 people and 1 tour guide. The tour covered about 7/8 "haunted" sites and lasted about an hour and a half. Overall, I was impressed with the presentation and atmosphere. (The guide was dressed in period attire and downtown Frederick is very charming). It was sometimes hard to get really into the stories however, due to the fact that most of the sites were off of busy streets and were very well lit by traffic and street lights. It really wasn't very scary at all.
But, if you're interested in history and the softer side of ghost stories, and want something fun and festive to do that is appropriate for young children, this is the event for you. Parking can at times be difficult, but downtown Frederick is never short on fun things to do. So, before or after the tour, your choice of restaurants is endless!
