The Outdoor Discovery Center is a non-profit, outdoor education facility with a 120 acre nature preserve. The ODC offers a wide range of programs including cultural and natural history. There are six distinct eco-systems throughout the property. There are 4.5 miles hiking trails which are open 365 days a year during daylight hours. There is no admission fee for entry.
The Outdoor Discovery Center is a wonderful place to take a walk with the family. They have a unique display of wildlife including elk, deer, snakes, turtles, frogs, and most impressively - raptors. This place is a must do for anyone who enjoys the outdoors.
The ODC as they call themselves is awesome. They have one of the best sets of birds for programs that are also on display I've seen next to a zoo! They do a great job of maintaining the trails and are really good about accompdating visitors.
