Century 21 Department Store, Morristown

They have one of the worst return policies i have ever seen. I used to shop there regularly but stopped going due to their terrible customer service. then went there today just for an exchange of two items I bought 2 days ago. They would not do the exchange because I did not have a receipt even though the tags and cover were all intact and new. I even showed them the card I purchased it on, still no buldging. I will not be going there for a long while The managers always have an attitude if you need to return or exchange C'mon Century 21 managers wake up and listen to your customers!!! or else you will slowly go down the drain.

on Jan 1st, when I came back from overseas vacation, I received by UPS a Christmas gift for my baby. The gift was purchased at Century 21 Morristown Dept Store on Nov 24th, but I just received it on Jan 1st. The gift was a baby cloth and it was indicated for 3-6 months, therefore too small for my baby. So I went to the store on Jan 3rd with the baby in the very cold wheather, we went there with the gift receipt and the original item with tag, only expecting an exchange to a bigger size. At the return counter, the staff (female) was cold and told us they could not do anything for us. Then I called for the customer service because I just wanted to change to a bigger size for the same item, otherwise this gift is useless. The customer service staff Jody Ann was called, but she made us wait for her for a long time. She initially came towards me, then talked with another staff (male) on her way, then she disappeared. I waited for another long time and required to call her again, finally she came, no smile at all. She refused any exchange consideration, and she was very cold and rude. My baby is bigger than 6 months so I can do nothing with this gift I received. This store service has no notion of customer care, their customer service staff is not professional at all and has no human sensibility. I am wondering how far this store is gonna go with such customer service.

I went to the Century 21 near ground zero. Don't waste your time if you are a petite. Limited petite clothes and very crowded. The prices were so-so. I had more luck at Filene's Basement and Macy's.

The store offers high end/signature brand at very reasonable price, but the staff (not all though) are rude, especially the managers.Live in Morristown area,regular shopper,one time I bought a Fendi watch worth $300 for my sister,unfortunately too big for her wrist.When I try to return,with receipt and half of the tag still attached,the manager wouldnt accept it,telling me its a different watch,bec when they scan the tag from them(w/c clearly state fendi gold tone)he said it said black dial and the one im returning is white dial,so I told him its not my fault you tag the wrong watch and he wouldnt listen.I challenge him to watch the tape on the day and time I bought it,he refused and when the store manager was called, he told me he will check the NY store if they have the description of the watch and will call me back. Until this day (over 2yrs) I never receive a call. The floor staff and cashier mostly friendly,its the managers who have attitude, except for Violeta in customer service,she is very nice. If you want good price signature item,this is the place, but the service is not A+.

I Love this store. It gives common folk the opportunity to buy quality merchandise, like the rich people at a great price.

i shopped on wednesday, july 30 around 10 am i bought three items the personnel i met below were very accommodating but my hat goes off to bobby cashier on level 1 he was so pleasant and nice, he smiled through out the transaction and remained very enthusiastic even though i refused the stores offering of credit cards etc THANKS EMERSON C BAILEY
