Original Fudge Kitchen

I think the fudge is pretty good. But sure enough, after reading the other review, I have to confirm that they attempt to scam you just a tad. I went there on a Friday afternoon and bought a 1/2 lb of fudge, and they give you just a little under...and then they try to make it exact, but in doing so they end up giving you a more than what you ask for...they then ask you if it is okay, noting that it's just a few cents over...meaning a dollar over or more... I went back the next day to buy a 1/2 lb for my girlfriend and they did the same exact thing...then I realized it was all scripted, verbatim! To top it off, my mother ordered a lb of cashews and they did the same exact thing again. They have decent fudge, but you shouldn't have to feel like you are at a used car lot surrounded by dishonest sales people when all you want is some fudge. I suggest going there but making sure you get exactly what you want! A dollar or two extra from each customer definitely adds up! Don't be fooled and make sure you get what you ask for!

I have to admit the fudge is good but their business practice has alot to be desired. I was there yesterday and I ordered a 1/2 pound of fudge and the cashier told me it was a couple cents over (her meaning of a couple cents is different from my meaning ). After I paid the bill I noticed that all of the cashiers said the same thing to their customers (it's a little over). I think I'll go to Laura's instead who gives you exactly what you ask for.
