New York Hall of Science

Description

The New York Hall of Science is an interactive museum geared towards children. The Space Pavilion at the 1964 World's Fair took place here, but now it houses more than 160 exhibits detailing the history and evolution of science and technology. A highlight is the outdoor Science Playground, a park filled with interactive games and displays, all designed to help children understand the human body. Fictional characters and scientific arts and crafts are used extensively much to the delight of the little ones here.

They are not flexible with two year old.
By ,
My 2 year old wandered into the arts and crafts center and they refused to give him a sheet of paper to draw on even though the place had only had two children doing projects and the crayons were on the table. He waited patiently at the table for about 15 minutes waiting for the paper. They rudely suggested we go to the preschool place but I was with my husband and 8 year old on that floor. I guess the art and crafts center is a profit center for them that would be ruined by a 2 year old drawing for 1 minute. I had to call down two supervisors to get some paper. I supposed they wanted to see a sceaming two year old rather than the very mad member. I don't really know what to say. Common sense isn't very common. I doubt they changed the rules. They like there rules there. Some of the volunteers are high school students and have very little experience with children and are rude to adults.
