Splash Lagoon Indoor Water Park Resort
\"One of top 10 water parks in North America\" according to Water Park Resorts Today, Splash Lagoon Indoor Water Park Resort includes child-friendly attractions, a lazy river, tubes, body slides, thrill water rides, an arcade, Lazer Tag, dining options, and more.
first it really is small and very little to do . The price is high. The grandkids had to keep going on the same two slides the rest was for little kids and someone kept throwing up in the wave pool so it was closed for two hours. And why is there is a bar inside the water park i thought it was for families.
Splash Lagoon is not worth the time or money. When going to Erie you are better off going to Waldameer Park and Waterworld, because it is affordable and memorable. a building full of slides is no where near as fun as an outdoor waterpark
This indoor water park was disgusting! You will be so disappointed! The park is build underground. It is unsanitary and they use recycled water that seems to have no chlorine. The park was over crowed. The rest room had Nat's. The water was slimy. The staff was unpleasant. I'm still trying to figure out how there are bathrooms, food and water play all in the same stuffy area. The slides are unsafe and the lifeguards were not on point. I watched a 6 or 7 year old boy go down a slide cracked his head on a wall dripping blood in the water and they didn't even shout the slide down to clean the water. I'm a caring mother that has visited several amusements attractions over the years but have never seen any thing like the Splash Lagoon. This place is overrated and will not be what you expected.
This park is horrible!! There are many, many cons to list for this park, but the biggest problem of all is the air quality in there! Our group included two adults and four children, ages 6 to 10. Toward evening on our first day, three of us began heavy hacking type coughs. We then began to notice many other patrons having the same problem. We left and returned for our second day (assuming this problem was simply from humidity buildup throughout the day), only to have the same problem within an hour of entering (only this time all six of us were having trouble breathing). We have been to another indoor water park about six months prior, stayed there two whole days, and had absolutely no breathing problems. Something is definitely wrong with their ventilation system! As for the rest of our trip, it was way too crowded. We expect lines for slides, but a 20-minute wait to get into the hot tub?! Come on!! There were rarely towels available, and they were often still damp. The prices are outrageous. They crowd too many waterslide lines into one stairway, which is dangerous, to say the least! They have one food vendor, which is extremely understaffed and slow. I could literally go on and on an on, but we will never return based solely on the fact that it is the day after we have returned and we are all still hacking and coughing
For anyone who is planning a trip to Splash Lagoon, should forget about it, and move on with their innocent lives! I mean no person on this Earth deserves to be treated horribly by staff, wait one hour for a slide, also have horrible hotel service!
When I was there I was in the pool with my children (6, 8, 9) and a lifeguard who was probably seventeen started to flirt with me, in front of the kids, and my husband!!! Then at the hotel the maids had given us used towels!!! They said that it was a mistake, but they didn't do anything about it! Also, my 8 year old waited an hour to go on a slide! Horrible!
Very fun waterpark and neat the way it was indoors but unless you want to be a prune for a day 40 bucks per person over 3 is a bit steep for what it is. Theres simply not enough to do for over about 4 hours and its tough to justify that kind of money spent.
