The Dickson Gallery was incredible. Great art at great prices can be found on every wall. This gallery is a must see when traveling through the Jackson area. The owner is a joy to deal with. She is upbeat and positive; highly intelligent and passionate about her gallery.

As an admirer of art since childhood, I've been to my fair share of galleries across the country -- some eclectic, many snooty, others cool and impersonal. In stark contrast was the warm and welcoming experience I had the pleasure of enjoying on a recent frigid Friday night. The Venus Soiree was delightful -- gorgeous pieces of wearable art from a nice range of talented local artists, showcased in a gallery that's a real "find." The Dickson Gallery of Fine Art in downtown Jackson is an asset to the art scene in Tennessee. Rachel Dickson, the gallery owner, is a delightful person, and it is refreshing to see her true love and support of art and the artists who create it. Her gallery is filled with an impressive array of art in a variety of mediums. I look forward to a return to the Dickson to see what other treasures Rachel has on display. If you're in the area, check it out! You'll be glad you came.

I love the ambiance, friendly and warm. So many artist to pick from and Amanda Bains pottery is the best. Cant wait to eat from my new dinnerware. If you love art you will love this gallery. It has something for everyone.

A friend and I stopped by the Dickson recently to pick up some unique teacher presents. We each bought several pairs of unique earrings to show our appreciation towards our kids teachers. They loved them! They were so different than everything else they got!

Wow...what else can I say? I am blown away by the local talent displayed in this gallery in downtown Jackson. Who ever would have known? When you visit this gallery, you'll experience the sweet smell of flowers, gentle breezes, and lush landscapes. You'll also experience many of your favorite things - from animals, wildlife and birds, to collectible cars/trucks, to tangy fruits and sweet chocolate, to favored recreational subjects such as music and playing cards. Not to mention historial scenes which remind you of the "good ole days", expressive abstract art, and imagery which will touch your heart and soul with the meanings behind the work. Not only can you bring incredible original art into your home from this gallery, but you'll also have your pick of a wide range of artistic and expressive jewelry, pottery and glassware, and some of the most unique metal work I've ever seen! And then there's the friendliness of the gallery owner and participating artists - everyone makes a visitor feel right at home here! The Dickson Gallery is definitely a "must see" again and again for Jackson, TN residents as well as visitors to the area.

The gallery features mainly local artists from a variety of mediums. Everything from jewelry and wine racks to traditional oils, pastels and photography. Rachel, the owner, is such a sweet person with a great personality and great stories. The atmosphere is so unique. It's amazing how much color and coolness can be fit in such a cozy little gallery. So much more personality than the upscale gallery next door.

I was in Jackson recently on business and ran into Rachel and several of the artists who show their amazing work in the Gallery. It was like running into old friends you hadn't seen in years. The kindness of the people, the welcoming atmosphere of the Gallery, and the friends I'll have for a lifetime are only three reasons to visit. I'm sure there's more where that came from. Visit Jackson and the Dickson Gallery of Fine Art and maybe you'll come away with that missing piece of art for your home, or that missing friend you didn't know you were looking for.

I thoroughly enjoy every experience at the Dickson Gallery. Rachel has an eclectic mix of art and makes sure she has something that will appeal to everyone. I have watched the gallery grow over the past year and am amazed at the quality of artwork. I also love the fact that she gives so many people a chance. She has new artists as well as established artists hanging in her gallery.
