Asolutely love this theater!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/25/09
We thoroughly enjoy every trip to the Commodore. It's hard to get in, but if you can, it's definately a worth while evening -- quaint and nostalgic for the 30+ crowd.

Customers first
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/18/08
The place is romantic, nostalgic and would be a great place to PLAN on going out. It shouldn't be an all afternoon affair to guarantee that's where you're spending your evening. These people need to cater to the customer and make it more convenient. Perhaps a reservation the week before can be honored. For that matter even a reservation fee would be better. The whole thing's just a pain. Sorry...not worth all the trouble.

Nickled and dimed to death
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/19/07
Do not be fooled by the prices. This place is expensive! Most sandwiches do not come with anything. Water is 30 cents per glass and it appears they charge for each refill. They add in a 20% tip for service I was much less thatn impressed with. To top it all off my check came to $49.92 for two people. They then added in 8 cents "just to round it up to the next quarter dollar"???!!! On exiting I saw a man complaining that he had paid fourty dollars on a 25 dollar check and was given no change. I don't know how that resolved.

for a special night out
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/28/06
Brings back memories of the theaters from my childhood. It is well preserved. Love the walls and heavy curtains.Even the bathroom was kept original. We enjoy ordering food from our table to eat before or during the show. The menu has improved over the years to add a wider selection. Vegatarians, try the pinapple cheese lettace and tomato sandwich,it is truely a treat! For a special night of unusual movie going, try it, you'll like it!
