Henry Morgan's Cave, Fresh Creek

Infamous pirate and profiteer Henry Morgan was once one of the most feared men throughout the Caribbean. It is said that the successful buccaneer often used Northern Andros as a hideout. His buried cache of treasure is said to be within this cave. It has never been confirmed by historians that Morgan used the cave at all. However, if you do decide to go, bring a flashlight to make your way around the stalagmites and bats. The cave is at the extreme northeastern point of Andros near the town of Morgan's Bluff. You'll see a sign along Queen's Highway that will direct you to the cavern.
