Great place to spend the day and view works of art from all over the world. Great atmosphere, setting, and scenery. Bring family and friends..definitely worth the visit.

Everything was a wonderland, enjoyed it enormously. September is a perfect time to visit, not too hot or too cool. Traffic was tough though.

The thing that I liked about this museum was that it had very old items to look at. The museum made me feel like if I had been living in the past.

When I was younger, my school went there on a field trip! It was beautiful! We greatly enjoyed the culture and atmosphere--even as children. Everything was well-placed and you felt right at home!

The artwork is fantastic. The setting spectacular. The events intelligent. The food delicious. This is a great, enjoyable adventure for all, even those who thought they didn't like art. They'll change their mind after visiting.

Clear blue sky and modern museum setting make this place very attractive. You can probably see the whole west LA. Oh and dont forget to bring your camera.

Yes, the admission is free at Getty Museum. If one happens to drive a car to the museum, he or she will have to pay for parking, but that is all visitors need to spend money for hours of feasting in impressions on paintings, statues and photographs left by countless artists. Don�t forget to check the museum website to check feature artists and visiting displays. While taking monorail ride up to the Museum, the great scenery of West Los Angeles will greet visitors. The view is even better if one can find your timing at sunset. The architecture of the museum is an art itself. Pictures taken at anywhere in the museum will come out as keepers for years preserving your memory of visiting Getty Museum. Camera is allowed in most of areas inside and outside, but no flash photo is allowed indoor. The first stop should be the main building where visitors can pick up maps and guide books in several languages. Visitors can also rent audio guides of art displays which follows suggested routes through out the museum. The cost of maps, guide books and audio guide experience is FREE. There are several options of dining in the museum or visitors can pack own lunches to picnic at generous sitting and dining tables strategically located through out the museum and gardens. Yes, Getty Museum also features a wonderful garden that depicts typical Southern California wilderness and plants including cactus. Cost of foods and drinks can be perceived as expensive compared to all FREE privileges visitors enjoy. However, it is merely a fraction of what tourists would pay at amusement parks and very comparative to local convenient stores or coffee houses. Remember, neither a convenient store nor a coffee house offers the view and the experience at the cost of cup of coffee and a sandwich. Bathrooms are immaculately clean and spacious. They are well maintained and can be found easily through out the museum. The last stop before departing from the Getty Museum should be at the museum store. Visitors can find many souvenirs to remember the world�s best art museum offering great experience at FREE of cost.

The architecture and the views are to die for, that is if the smog doesn't get in the way. PLus, there's art also... for free (except for the parking charges).

great place to soak up some culture. fine art, beautiful location, what not to like? the price of admission is free. you just have to pay for parking. money well spent.

It's a great place to sightsee and to appreciate classy art. Highly recommended place to take anyone. Furthermore, it doesn't cost anything to get in. The restaurants have good food although a bit pricy. The view from the top over the entire LA is just awesome.
