Well, talking about authentic Italian food sounds like a joke, since all the people that work at this restaurant (owner included) are Albanians, who, I don t know why, try always to pass as Italians. Believe me, Albanians don t have anything to do with Italy, Italians, and Italian food. With this being said, Tuscany is a very approximate restaurant; I have been there a couple of times, and I always felt uncomfortable. Food is average, service is not professional at all, and the atmosphere is very chaotic. This restaurant is a classic example of people without experience and style, who improvise themselves businessmen; they adventure into an industry that they don t belong to. To run a nice and successful Italian restaurant isn t easy; it is not for everybody...
Not only did they leave the beautiful cake i made melting in the hot kitchen instead of in a walk-in, my whole family contracted food poisoning including my pregnant sister. Do not go to this resturaunt.
How can you mess up chicken saltimbocca so thoroughly? The chicken was definitely not breast meat. The prosciutto was tough and the sauce had a horrible odor. I had high hopes, since it's only a few miles from my house, but i will NEVER return.
Terrible experience. Scheduled a private party for many people, owner reneged the day of on the contract and allowed other patrons to dine even though the place was agreed to be closed during the event for additional cost. Very uncomfortable atmosphere as strangers were attending our private party. Not accommodating at all and quite rude. Do not host a party here, the contract and deposit are worthless. We will never eat here and promise to tell our friends and family not to either.
The place was very noisy and small. Our waitress was very good and attentive. The girl that I beleive was the hostess was not very polite and acted as if we owed her something for being allowed to come here. The food was fair to good, not great as I had been told. Will I return.probably not. Parking was horrible, had to park on a side street and lucky to find a spot. The waitresses all wore white tops the hostess wore all black.
Excellent! Service was great! Table was ready at reserved time. Calamari, mussels, linguine with scallops - everything was perfect. Wish i left room for dessert. Will go back! Make reservations - small place. limited parking.
My husband and I have found our new favorite restaurant. Their veal is fabulous and their tiramisu is the best I've ever had.
Calmari is also wonderful.
We have been telling a lot of friends and family how good it is. We even made reservations for my husand's birthday and are bringing family.
the food is amazing! i live in center city and drive all the way up to the northeast to eat here. the prices are very reasonable - especially the lunch specials. great for take-out too. try the chicken catherina.. delicious!!
Dinner was GREAT. Prices very reasonable. Service very good. Very good portions. Place small but cozy. I would recommend reservations. People were waiting outside. Highly recommend, not really a childs restaurant even though they have kids meals (limited). Have to park on street.
