Went here last week for lunch. They were not busy, ut it took a LONG time for our food to come out. They kept asking us what we ordered because I'm guessing they couldnt find our ticket. Not my first time there and I wont be the last. I just hope the service will be better.
Food was tasty, need a wider selection of food, with each meat in it's own display tray. Sevice could have been better, other patrons came in 10 minutes after my husband and I and they were served first. Had to ask for glasses for juice; toast arrived at the table 10 minutes after my eggs. Husband's omlette was stuffed well. We may try them again on a jazz night to give a fair chance. Best of luck to the owner, we wish you much success, we were just
two patron amongst many, there was a steady stream of people.
Picture an intimate setting with soft colors, wonderful artwork, delicious food and a pleasant staff. It was refreshing to have a unique eating place right in the neighborhood. If you haven't been you should. My daughter enjoyed every morsel of her food. It's a nice atmosphere for various occasions. The prices are moderate also.
Make sure you have the Blackened Catfish! The service was wonderful and the food was as well. The Sunday Brunch was nice I just wonder how it will do when the word gets out and the crowds start showing up. It isn't that big inside so they will have lines. I can't wait to try some of the other items on the menu. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food they serve. I understand they will be getting a license to sell alcohol which will be nice. Finally someplace in the neighborhood that doesn't have coney island in it's name!
