Lapagua Mexican Restaurant, Lafayette

OMG! We LOVE Tex-Mex, and thought we had found the best ever, until we went here. It is not easy to find (behind Baskin-Robins) in small shopping strip, off Johnston St., but well worth finding and trying. It is small and not fancy, a Mom & Pop place, with the best food. The salsa is to die for & we are also working our way through the menu. Every time we go, there is constantly a flow of people who are regulars, from workers to shoppers and college students. I had heard from a friend just how great this place was & boy was he right! He said that they try and go there at least once a week = YUM! The food was very fresh, home made, not too hot (you can always make it hotter, you can't take it OUT, after it is already IN.) The servers were all so nice and friendly and looked like they may even enjoy their job. We can't wait to go back.
