The staff was great, the environment was good, the management was poor, and the customer service was terrible. Having eaten at the restaurant a week earlier and enjoying the pizza I returned with friends to enjoy it again. The one thing that I didn’t enjoy was the pizza being cut Chicago Style (cut in squares) I asked for it to be cut in 8 slices. I was told that they wouldn’t do that…it was not Chicago style. I said all I am asking is that you cut it in slices instead of squares…the waitress put in the request and management refused. I talked to the General Manager today and he stated ”If we do it for you, soon everyone will want it that way” I asked isn’t that responding to what the customer wants? He stated “It’s not what we are about…I think he meant sliced pizza…I believe he proved they are not about customer service.
Our family loves Romano's Restaurant. It is the hottest place to be in Redlands right now. The night life is second to none, and the Pizza is the best this side of Chicago. If you aren't sure what to order, I would recommend the Canelloni, the Fetuccine Caprisiosso, and the Champagne Chicken!
Best deep dish pizza I've ever had! Worth waiting 40 minutes for. And they serve Hanger 24 on tap which is a definite bonus. Recommend downstairs dining and bar area for sports fans and casual diners, and upstairs for more upscale Italian dining. But seriously, the pizza is DELICIOUS!
Wow, I love this place! Great back-east brick-building sports bar atmosphere and full bar downstairs with dining from the pizza or full Italian menu. More elegant upstairs (so I've heard -- never been up there) with Italian menu only. The stuffed pizzas and garlic cheese bread are crazy-good. My wife has gotten pasta and chicken dishes off the Italian menu which were also great. Large salads are available to share which makes for a good value. On the weekends you are going to have to fight for parking (unless you go across the street) and probably wait for a table but it is well worth it.
