We saw other review for this little local place and decided to give it a try as we love Italian food. It was great! The food was very good and exceeded our expectations. The owner waited on us and was great with suggestions from their specials and regular menu. We will be back and are telling our friends not to miss great food at reasonable prices.
OMG!!! We moved to the Central Coast from New Jersey several years ago and have really missed great Italian food. This place made us feel like we were back in a small NJ neighborhood restaurant. This was the best Italian food we have had in California and the service impeccable. We cannot say enough about this wonderful place. Sadly, it is a little distance from where we live, but we plan to return often.
We had a wonderful meal here. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let that stop you from enjoying a great meal. The stuffed mushrooms were amazing and all our meals were superb. What a little gem for Nipomo. !!!
Ok, it's small, cramped and doesn't serve any beer or wine, but frankly, who cares? This place is owned by a guy who not only cooks the food, but he's the buyer, the prep person, the desert maker, and he's really good.
His specialties center around seafood...and his year's of experience at other regional places like Guiseppe's or Cafe Roma are truly noticeable in not only the taste of these dishes, but the creativity of how they're put together.
I had fresh..I mean fresh, mahi mahi that was prepared exquisitely. My wife had scallops, and was very pleased. We had no room for desert, but found out that he makes all of them from scratch, himself.
You gotta try this place....pricing is very reasonable for what you get.
We had dinner there for the first time last week. There were five with my little 2 year old grandaughter. We all had something different; we all enjoyed what we had.
At the end of the dinner one gentleman, part of the restaurant, offered our grandaughter a piece of cake. The cake was huge. We all shared and it was delicious.
We will be going there often.
There is another Italian restaurent in town, but I found it inconsistant in quality and service. For Italian food we generally went to Pismo Beach, but now I have a local option.
Ate here for the first time last night and was thrilled with the whole experience. A friend of mine had told us about the new restaurant so my boyfriend and I went to check it out. We started with a glass of Chianti and the stuffed mushrooms. Perfection. Out came our caesar salads with crunchy crutons and crisp lettuce--also perfection. We both ordered from the special board. Lobster and Pear raviolis with a parmesan sage cream sauce for me. Baked Halibut with a red pepper sauce for the boyfriend. We were both so excited about the food! It was amazing. We finished our dinner with some homemade Tiramisu and left this wonderful restaurant happy and full. Service was friendly and personal. This place is a MUST.
This was one of the best meals we have ever had on the Central Coast. The restaurant is small, but the food is wonderful. We took our niece there for her 16th birthday and the food and service was exceptional. and that includes the dessert. People, take note, you need to try this restaurant. So nice to be able to go out to this kind of dinner in our small community. Good luck to the owners. Everyone try this place, you won't be disappointed.
